Cosmic Cash respins: fill a reel, win the UFO award

Six money moons turn the reels into a respins grid with a UFO beside every reel. Fill a reel with moons and its UFO pays cash, free spins, a multiplier or a jackpot.

Triggering the Cosmic Respins#

Land six or more money moons in a single base-game spin. The ordinary reels are swapped for special ones that carry only moons and blanks, so from here on every symbol that lands has a cash value.

How the respins grid works#

  1. Three respins to start. Every moon that lands stays put until the round ends, and resets the respins to three.
  2. Moons slide. After each respin the moons move to the end of their reel: right in landscape, down in portrait.
  3. The UFO opens space. Each time moons move, the UFO beside that reel opens one more empty spot, up to two extra spots per reel.
  4. Fill a reel, unlock its UFO. When every spot on a reel holds a moon, the award shown on its UFO is unlocked.
  5. The round ends when the respins run out or every spot on the grid, extensions included, is full. All moon values and unlocked awards are then added together and paid.

A multiplier works best on a reel full of high moons: five moons worth 5x each under a 10x multiplier pay 250x your bet from that reel alone.

Money moon values#

Every moon shows its value as it lands. The possible values are 0.375x, 0.5x, 0.625x, 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, 2x, 2.5x, 3.75x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 25x, 40x, 50x and 100x your bet. At a NZ$2 bet that means anything from NZ$0.75 to NZ$200 on a single moon.

Buying the feature#

The Buy Respins button under the jackpot plates starts the Cosmic Respins for 100x your bet. The round then begins with six moons of random value already on the grid, and the RTP of the bought feature is 96.58%. At NZ$0.40 the buy costs NZ$40, at NZ$1 it costs NZ$100.

Free spins#

Three, four or five scatters anywhere start 10, 20 or 50 free spins; a UFO can also award 10 to 100 of them inside the respins. The free spins use special reels with more stacked wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4, which lines up long runs of matching symbols. Three or more scatters during the round add 10, 20 or 50 more spins.
